DESCRIPTION:Money Smart Summer Financial Literacy Cohort\nPowered by Enterprise Bank & Trust \nAspiring Youth Academy (AYA)\, in partnership with Enterprise Bank & Trust\, is proud to offer the Money Smart Summer Financial Literacy Cohort—a 6-week\, no-cost program designed to equip teens with real-world money skills that last a lifetime. \nThis engaging and interactive experience is open to teens ages 13–18 and their families\, combining live virtual sessions with two in-person finale workshops to bring learning to life. \n\n\n\nProgram Schedule\nAll virtual sessions take place from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. \n\nSession 1: Tuesday\, June 30\nSession 2: Tuesday\, July 7\nSession 3: Thursday\, July 16\nSession 4: Tuesday\, July 21\nSession 5: Tuesday\, July 28 (in-person) \nSession 6: Wednesday\, July 29 (in-person finale)\n\n\n\n\nProgram Overview \n\n6-week live virtual cohort\n2 in-person sessions at the finale\nLed by local banking professionals and financial experts\nFocused on real-life financial decision-making and confidence-building\n\n\n\n\nHost a Watch Party (New!)\nFor each virtual session\, AYA will also support in-person watch parties to create a more interactive\, community-based learning experience. \nIf you are a: \n\nTeacher\nClub organizer\nFoster family organization\nYouth program facilitator\n\n…and are working with teens\, we’d love to partner with you! \n📧 Contact Ashley@aspiringyouth.org to sign up your group and learn more about hosting your own watch party. \n\n\n\nWhat Teens Will Learn\nParticipants will gain practical\, real-world skills including: \n\nBudgeting and money management\nSaving strategies and financial goal-setting (SMART goals)\nUnderstanding credit and planning for the future\nIdentifying and protecting themselves from scams\nMaking informed financial decisions with confidence\n\n\n\n\nWhy This Program Matters\nThis is more than a financial literacy course—it’s a confidence-building experience that empowers teens to take control of their financial future. \nFrom our most recent cohort: \n\n93% of teens felt very confident managing money after the program\n100% said they feel more confident making smart financial decisions\n100% gained tools they can use in real life\n89% had meaningful financial conversations with their families\n\nTeens walk away not just understanding financial concepts—but applying them to real goals like saving for college\, buying a car\, or starting a business. \n\n\n\nCertificate of Completion\nAll students who complete the program will receive a Letter of Completion from Aspiring Youth Academy and Enterprise Bank & Trust\, recognizing their participation in the full 6-week cohort. \n\n\n\nReal Impact\, Real Voices\n“This taught me how to budget\, save\, and think ahead… now I feel like I know what I’m doing.” – Grade 11\n“Planning for the future isn’t just something adults do—I can start now.” – Grade 12 \n\n\n\nWho Should Join \n\nTeens ages 13–18\nFamilies who want to build stronger financial habits together\nStudents interested in entrepreneurship\, independence\, and future planning\n\n\n\n\nProgram Experience \n\nInteractive discussions and real-life scenarios\nHands-on activities and goal-setting\nPeer connection and mentorship\nIn-person finale sessions to apply learning and celebrate growth\n\n\n\n\nA Lasting Resource\nParticipants will also gain access to AYA’s financial literacy tools and resources\, designed to support continued learning beyond the program. \n\n\n\nWhy Join\nBecause financial literacy isn’t just about money—\nit’s about confidence\, independence\, and opportunity.
