This Release and Waiver of Liability (“Release”) applies to participation in programs, events, and activities organized by Aspiring Youth Academy (AYA), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation in Arizona. By agreeing to this Release, you acknowledge and accept the following:

Esta Exención y Liberación de Responsabilidad (“Exención”) aplica a la participación en programas, eventos y actividades organizadas por Aspiring Youth Academy (AYA), una corporación sin fines de lucro 501(c)(3) en Arizona. Al aceptar esta Exención, usted reconoce y acepta lo siguiente:

Waiver and Release / Exención y Liberación
I hereby release and forever discharge AYA, its officers, directors, employees, volunteers, agents, successors, and assigns from any and all liability, claims, costs, or demands of any kind, known or unknown, that may arise out of or relate in any way to my child’s attendance or participation in AYA programs and activities. This includes, but is not limited to, any claims for bodily injury, personal injury, illness, death, property damage, or loss—whether caused by negligence of AYA or otherwise. I understand that by agreeing to this Release, I am giving up the right to bring legal action against AYA related to these matters.

Por la presente libero y exonero permanentemente a AYA, sus funcionarios, directores, empleados, voluntarios, agentes, sucesores y representantes de toda responsabilidad, reclamo, costo o demanda de cualquier tipo, conocida o desconocida, que pueda surgir o relacionarse de cualquier manera con la asistencia o participación de mi hijo(a) en los programas y actividades de AYA. Esto incluye, entre otros, reclamos por lesiones corporales, lesiones personales, enfermedades, fallecimiento, daños a la propiedad o pérdidas, ya sean causados por negligencia de AYA o de otra manera. Photographic and Media Release / Autorización de Fotografía y Medios
I understand that my child may be photographed, videotaped, or otherwise recorded during AYA events. I grant to AYA all rights, title, and interest in these images, videos, audio recordings, or materials created by my child while participating in AYA programs. I consent to the use of my child’s name, likeness, image, voice, or work by AYA in perpetuity, in any medium (print, digital, online, or otherwise), for promotional, educational, and marketing purposes without further notice, approval, or compensation.

Entiendo que mi hijo(a) puede ser fotografiado(a), grabado(a) en video o registrado(a) de cualquier otra manera durante los eventos de AYA. Otorgo a AYA todos los derechos, títulos e intereses sobre estas imágenes, videos, grabaciones de audio o materiales creados por mi hijo(a) mientras participa en programas de AYA. Doy mi consentimiento para el uso del nombre, imagen, voz, apariencia o trabajo de mi hijo(a) por parte de AYA de manera permanente y en cualquier medio (impreso, digital, en línea u otro) con fines promocionales, educativos y de mercadotecnia, sin previo aviso, aprobación o compensación adicional.

If you do not wish for yourself or your child to be photographed or included in media content during AYA events or programs, please email info@aspiringyouth.org prior to the event. You may also notify AYA staff upon check-in at the event so we can make every reasonable effort to accommodate your request.

Si usted no desea que usted o su hijo(a) sea fotografiado(a) o incluido(a) en contenido multimedia durante eventos o programas de AYA, por favor envíe un correo electrónico a info@aspiringyouth.org antes del evento. También puede informar al personal de AYA al registrarse en el evento para que podamos hacer todo esfuerzo razonable para respetar su solicitud.

Miscellaneous / Disposiciones Generales
This Release represents the complete understanding between AYA and me and supersedes any prior agreements or understandings. If any provision of this Release is found to be invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in full effect. This Release shall be binding on me, my heirs, executors, legal representatives, successors, and assigns.

Esta Exención representa el entendimiento completo entre AYA y yo y reemplaza cualquier acuerdo o entendimiento previo. Si alguna disposición de esta Exención se considera inválida, las disposiciones restantes continuarán en pleno vigor y efecto. Esta Exención será vinculante para mí, mis herederos, ejecutores, representantes legales, sucesores y cesionarios.

Governing Law / Ley Aplicable
This Release shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the State of Arizona.

By checking the box during registration (or signing below, if on paper), I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and voluntarily agree to the terms of this Release. I understand that I am waiving substantial legal rights, including the right to bring claims against AYA. If the participant is under 18, I affirm that I am the parent or legal guardian and that I have authority to provide consent on their behalf.
