Learn how to turn your passion for photography into a business while enjoying a FREE professional mini senior portrait session. This hands-on workshop is perfect for teens looking to explore entrepreneurship, build their personal brand, or capture amazing photos for themselves.

  • Investing in your first camera affordably
  • Photography basics: posing, directing subjects, finding light, and camera settings
  • Hands-on photography walk around ASU’s campus
  • Building your first portfolio
  • Setting up and booking your first shoots with friends and family
  • Developing your artistic voice
  • Personal branding and marketing yourself at a teen
  • Optional: try professional equipment (Ashley’s Sony camera and lenses) or bring your own camera/phone

About Ashley Woodburn:

Since a young age, Ashley has always had a camera in her hands and been an entrepreneur at heart. Outside of her full-time role as AYA Program Manager, she runs her own photography business on a flexible schedule, capturing the stories of local entrepreneurs, authors, chefs, fitness brands, families, and more, earning additional income while doing what she loves. She enjoys helping people share their passions, stories, and businesses, elevating them through professional imagery that highlights their unique voice.

Previously, Ashley served as Program Manager for the non-profit Kids in Focus, where she supported youth in exploring creativity and visual storytelling. Through Aspiring Youth Academy, she mentors teen entrepreneurs, helping them build businesses that light them up, tell their story, elevate their personal brand, and get a head start on professional opportunities.
