Aspiring Youth Academy Announces New Leadership to Propel Their Mission Forward
September 11, 2024 – Phoenix, AZ – Aspiring Youth Academy (AYA) is thrilled to announce the appointment of Bridget Costello as its new Executive Director and Niya Taylor as the Program Manager. These strategic appointments are pivotal as AYA continues to expand its impactful programs designed to equip young individuals with essential entrepreneurship, leadership, and financial education skills.
Bridget Costello, a seasoned leader with a strong background in fundraising and community service, steps into her role as Executive Director with a track record of creating profound impact for non-profit communities. Born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, Bridget has dedicated much of her career to elevating the educational and developmental opportunities for youth and communities at large. Her previous roles include Director of Development at the Children’s Museum of Phoenix, St. Mary’s High School, YWCA. Most recently she served as Vice President of Philanthropy at Free Arts and has elevated dozens of non-profits throughout her career spearheading campaigns that raised millions and substantially broadened community support.
“I am thrilled to assume the role of Executive Director of Aspiring Youth Academy as this position supports my passion for elevating children and teens in our community,” said Bridget Costello. “I look forward to working alongside Niya, our new Program Manager, and the incredible AYA Board to provide invaluable opportunities that will propel our youth to success and help them realize their dreams.”
Niya Taylor joins AYA with over 15 years of experience in the non-profit sector and more than a decade in K-12 education. Her extensive background includes roles such as Director of Student Affairs and Assistant Principal, where she excelled in creating and leading student support programs. Niya is especially noted for her development of the “I’m Going to College” Program, which has significantly helped students visualize and prepare for higher education pathways.
