While at the salon, youth will meet Veronica Amendola, owner of BBV Salon, and hear how she turned her passion into a thriving business. She’ll share her entrepreneurial journey and introduce youth to the many career paths in the beauty industry—from hairstyling and barbering to salon ownership and entrepreneurship.

Veronica Amendola’s journey embodies resilience, growth, and the power of embracing adversity. From a teenage mother to a successful businesswoman, Veronica’s story is a testament to determination and the transformative power of hard work.
After nearly 20 years working for another salon, Veronica made the courageous decision to step outside her comfort zone and open her own business in 2008.
Today, BBV SALON employs 30 team members and stands as an example of what perseverance and vision can accomplish.
Veronica is passionate about empowering others through the beauty industry by creating opportunities for financial independence, mentorship, and personal growth. Her salon is a place where everyone feels welcomed, supported, inspired, and encouraged to thrive.
