Hot Rods & the Business Behind Them: A Teen Garage Experience

On Thursday, July 23 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM, students ages 14–18 will get an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at All American Billet (AAB), led by entrepreneur Shane Williams, who turned a small machine shop into a powerhouse in the hot rod world.
Shane started AAB in 2013 with a single billet sun visor hook for classic trucks. Today, the company designs custom hot rods, suspension kits, and aftermarket parts, and has grown through multiple brand acquisitions.
AAB’s Latest Venture:
All American Billet continues to innovate, most recently acquiring Hurricane Motorsports, a manufacturer of Shelby Cobra replica kit cars. The company now offers build-it-yourself kits, rollers, and fully built cars. Plans are also in motion to add Porsche 356 Speedsters and Spyders, further cementing AAB’s status as a leader in custom automotive innovation. Operating across three facilities totaling 41,500 square feet, AAB is more than a collection of brands—it’s a unified powerhouse pushing the boundaries of hot rod and custom vehicle craftsmanship.
During this hands-on 2-hour experience, teens will:
- Explore the garage and see hot rods being built, customized, and restored up close
- Discover the art and skill behind transforming classic cars into one-of-a-kind machines
- Learn directly from Shane about turning passion into a thriving, multi-brand business
- Ask questions, gain inspiration, and connect school lessons to real-world entrepreneurship
This is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to see hot rods and business in action, and get inspired by an entrepreneur who’s built a career from creativity, passion, and vision!
